SVG is useful when your design application needs a scalable QR pattern. Create a code in the generator and choose Download SVG Vector. The generator shows current availability and pricing; no payment is required while free SVG mode is enabled.
Why use SVG?
The QR modules are described as shapes that compatible applications can render at different sizes. This helps when preparing a business card, label or poster. It does not remove the need for a readable physical size, clear border and scan test.
A practical workflow
- Enter and proofread the final URL or contact fields.
- Start with square modules and a dark pattern on a plain light background.
- Download SVG and open the actual file in your final layout application.
- Preserve the background and quiet zone. Avoid uneven stretching or cropping.
- Scan the final exported layout or printed sample.
Inspect every conversion
If your artwork contains a raster logo, that element retains its own pixel resolution. Applications can also flatten artwork during import or export. A vector filename does not guarantee that every object inside is vector or that a converted file will scan.
Prepare for a printer
Ask which format the printer accepts. This site exports PNG and SVG directly. If EPS or PDF is required, convert the SVG in a compatible application, apply the printer’s production settings and inspect the result.
